In 2009, Etijah created The Federation of Egyptian Anti-Tobacco Network (FATN).The aim of FATN was to create a network of organizations and institutions working on combating smoking to achieve the following goals:
• Providing technical assistance to the organizations working in the field of combating smoking.
• Monitoring the implementation of the framework convention on tobacco control.
• Conducting training courses to the CSOs and NGOs interested in the issue of anti-smoking cause.
• Issuing an annual report on the situation and efforts done to combat smoking in Egypt.
• Holding an annual conference on the situation and efforts done to combat smoking in Egypt.
