Partner: Sawiris Foundation for Social Development & Uber

Year of Implementation: 2017-2019

In partnership with the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development and Uber, Etijah implemented the Meshwar Aman employment project to tackle youth unemployment by preparing young people for the labor market. The project delivered capacity-building training to participants aged 21–35 across Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria, and provided 500 job opportunities as Uber Captains in the selected governorates following the training.

Training by specialists equipped participants with essential workplace skills, customer service, professional etiquette, tailored English-language skills, GPS use, and more. The project also offered support and facilities for participants who did not own a car.
