Etijah mobilized its human resources to participate in overcoming and eradicating the issue of unemployment for the youth. Etijah gained massive experience from the previously delivered trainings to 600 young women and men in 2012.
Therefore, In the collaboration with Social Fund for Development, the European Union and the World Bank, Etijah launched Job Opportunity project. The project targeted youth with ages from 18 to 29 years, aiming at train and employ of 150 young men and women from the following districts: El Zawya El Hamra, Mansyet Nasser, Bulaq Aby El Ela and qualify them to join the labor market in the retail sector.
The training program covered the following topics:
• English course for retail sector.
• Marketing and sales skills.
• Employability and life skills
• Customer service.
• Resume writing and interview skills
