Etijah, the Youth and Development Consultancy Institute, proudly announces its collaboration with Voco hotel, one of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ distinguished brands, and shares the first milestone of this partnership, the successful Hotel Job Fair held on October 23, 2025 in Voco Hotel. offering promising job opportunities to support youth employment within Egypt’s dynamic hospitality sector.

The event marked a key milestone in Etijah’s ongoing commitment to bridging the gap between youth talent and the labor market. Through the collaboration, 50 young men and women aged between 21 and 30 participated in the job fair and entered an on-site interview process for positions in food and beverage, housekeeping, and front office operations.
The partnership builds on Etijah’s consistent dedication to advancing employability and professional growth in the hospitality industry. The institute has previously implemented several capacity-building and employability programs, including the Hospitality Employability Program (2023–2024) and Tomoh’s Employability Component (2025–2026), both designed to equip young Egyptians with the skills and connections needed to thrive in the labor market, contribute to economic growth, and strengthen Egypt’s tourism sector.
Etijah’s commitment to the hospitality industry is also reflected in its extensive network of vocational schools and partnerships with Egyptian universities. This network played a vital role in Etijah’s earlier contribution to the Fairmont Hotel Job Fair, where the institute applied the same approach by engaging vocational schools, university partners, and program alumni to reach qualified young candidates. Through such efforts, Etijah continues to bridge employment gaps in the hospitality sector while empowering young Egyptians to gain professional experience, reduce unemployment, and drive sustainable growth within Egypt’s tourism and service industries.
This collaboration further highlights Etijah’s ongoing efforts to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). It reflects the insitute’s belief that meaningful partnerships with the private sector such as Voco and IHG Hotels & Resorts are essential to expanding decent work opportunities, enabling young people to thrive, and supporting the sustainable growth of Egypt’s hospitality and tourism industries.
