About Etijah
Youth and Development Consultancy Institute – Etijah is a non-profit organization specializing in developing, improving, and disseminating development methodologies in youth and community development.
Based in Cairo, Etijah’s primary concern is to create and tailor up-to-date and high-quality development methodologies, research tools, applicable practices of youth development, and training delivery models, to be able to qualify youth by providing them with the skills, know-how, and aptitudes, as well as contribute to building the capacity of governmental and non-governmental youth-serving organizations. Our role is to provide youth with direct access to unconditional participation by providing practical tools and models for developing community-wide initiatives.
Program Background
Tomooh project is implemented by Etijah in partnership with Secours Catholique Caritas France (SCCF). The project Provides Employability and Entrepreneurship Services to targeted youth with the aim to increase youth economic empowerment and to combat youth unemployment in Egypt. The project specific objective can be summed up to decreasing the gap between the workforce and the job market. The program has two components: Employability and Entrepreneurship, this TOR Scope is relevant to the employability component.
The employability component is intended to support youth through sharpening their capabilities with a set of skills, knowledge, and qualifications to help them into their most suitable personal career path. The component aims at enhancing the graduates’ employability skills to fill the gap between university life and the skills demanded by the employers in the labor market. The component proposes several employability activities to equip them with required skills and facilitate the development of their employability. These activities take the graduates on a journey of self-discovery, career exploration, and preparation besides career coaching through a set of general and job-specific skills that recruiters are looking for such as job hunting and job searching skills.
This phase focuses on two main sectors for employability which are (Hospitality) and (Marketing and Sales). Participants interested in a specific work field will be divided into two separate cohorts to cater for their work needs.
Consultancy Overview
The Marketing Digital Literacy Sessions focus on enhancing participants’ proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) while introducing them to AI tools that optimize marketing and sales operations. Together, these sessions prepare job seekers with necessary skills to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Design a structured training curriculum covering Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) at a basic/intermediate level.
2. Develop lesson plans that introduce AI tools relevant to marketing & sales, helping participants leverage technology in their careers.
3. Ensure the training is hands-on and practical, enabling participants to apply the skills in real-world job settings.
4. Teach participants to:
• Word: Format documents, create professional reports, and collaborate using track changes.
• Excel: Use formulas, create charts, analyze data, and manage spreadsheets efficiently.
• PowerPoint: Design engaging presentations, use slide animations, and structure marketing proposals.
5. Demonstrate tools such as:
• ChatGPT
• Canva
• Google Analytics
6. Ensure participants understand how AI can optimize workflows and enhance productivity in marketing roles.
Key Deliverables
2. Develop a structured curriculum & lesson plans tailored to business applications in marketing & sales.
3. Provide training materials, including:
• Resource lists and case studies on AI tools.
5. Offer individual feedback to help participants improve their digital skills.
6. Facilitate real-world application exercises
Required Qualifications
• Registered companies/institutions or individuals in Egypt with experience in conducting English language training programs.
• Minimum 5 years experience in delivering similar content
• Capacity to provide and deliver customized high-quality assessment reports on each student individually.
• Can operate online
