Allies was a six-month exchange program hosted by Etijah (Youth and Development Consultancy Institute) in Cairo and ONG Ecos do Sur in A Coruña. The program gathered 20 young men and women from Egypt and Spain, aged 18–30, to strengthen Spanish–Egyptian cultural cooperation through youth-led community development.
The exchange gave participants the chance to appreciate cultural diversity, gain practical skills, and build confidence and self-reliance for professional life, fostering cross-cultural understanding and enhancing young people’s role as community development actors.
