As part of the Youth Entrepreneurship Network project between Etijah and SEED project in 2018-2019, Youth Network Hubs are to be created with a fund of 80,000 EGP from USAID. The main aim of the project is to raise awareness on entrepreneurship and strengthen the capacities of youth, with a main focus on women, in Sohag and Kafr El Sheikh to become community leaders. Consequently, the hubs will act as a facilitator for networking between entrepreneurs with services providers, preparing entrepreneurs for different opportunities and promoting entrepreneurship among youth especially young women.

Therefore, an event took place on the 15th and 16th of March, 2019 in Cairo with 60 participants from Sohag and Kafr El Sheikh to create a design and strategic plan for the hubs. The 60 participants were chosen by Etijah, among 700 others, through an online application. Participants were selected based on their justifications to join the program.

They attended a TOT and a capacity building training to strengthen their knowledge about entrepreneurship and work on cascading it. At the end of the event, participants chose the president, vice president, and head of committee for each hub in the two governorates and created an action plan with activities.
